3 Days and Counting!!!!

Finally, the finish line is growing closer and closer. This will be our last week in Pavlodar. We will be flying to Almaty next Monday night. We are so excited and can’t wait to begin our new life with Az.

We had a terrific visit with Az today. He was super cuddly. He had to get his fill of momma and poppa. He has definitely got the word poppa down. We think he said momma once but aren’t sure. We will have to work on that. He was also saying “I I I I I” and kaka (which means something that is dirty and that he shouldn’t have). He usually says “kaka” after he picks up some fuzz off the carpet. He also had a great time today banging on boxes and inspecting the video camera. When we took him back, he was happy to see his caregiver but changed his tune when we started saying “paka” and waving at him. His facial expression quickly changed from one with a smile to one of “hey where you guys going.” We can’t wait until Friday when he can come home with us.

We then went to sign some documents at the notary and then back to the apartment. The afternoon was again pretty quiet. We watched a couple of movies and had some pasta for dinner. We wish we could see Az tomorrow but know its not on the schedule. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and get a bit warmer so we can enjoy the outdoors. I have yet to have any cotton candy from the park and can’t wait to try some.

Talk to you all soon,
Love, David and Amy

The memories of your trip will be something you will never forget. The son you bring home will be the blessing you both deserve so much. We can't wait to see you all back home and hear the stories and see the videos you have made. You have experienced something none of us back here ever have or ever will. Treasure it. It's the beginning of a wonderful new life.
We love you all with all endlessly,
Dad & Pat

I just wanted to drop in and say "Hi" and to say how much I've enjoyed keeping up with your journey,(even though David's daddy has been keeping me posted thru emails). You will have some
exciting times to share with Az when he gets older. What a blessed child he is to have such wonderful loving parents and grandparents.

We'll keep you in our prayers for a safe and uneventful journey home.

We are counting and praying.

Try a pacifier for the ride home--keeps little mouths quiet and might help with the ears. Maybe even the candy ones!

Can't wait to see all of you again.
