15 days and counting

We are still really excited about the court day and we were ready to see Az. He was in a good mood today. We stayed indoors because it was a little chilly. We decided to bring along some clothes to see how they would fit. We took a pair of sweat pants and a pair of track pants. We also took a onsie. The track pants swallowed him. There were too long and they fell right off him. The sweat pants were a little better. Amy rolled them on the top and bottom. They were just a little long, but seemed to fit him better. The t-shirt onsie fit him really well. It looked comfortable and a little roomy. We have to get some experience dressing an active little boy. He complained a little while we were changing him but he is a trooper.

After the clothes, we played with blocks, trucks and everything else. He is really making a lot of noises. It is kind of hard to explain but it was kind of like a dog’s bark that was a whisper. He also babbled quite a bit. It was a good visit.

After the visit we found out that we would not get to go to the baby house tomorrow. We met up with Svetlana and she said that Tanya needed some study time and that we probably didn’t want to go everyday to the babyhouse. We were upset. We tried to get our point across that this was the whole reason we were here but it didn’t matter. Instructions were given and we have no choice.

The rest of the day was spent with Jack Bauer in 24. We are really excited to have gotten our package last night before we went to see Shrek 3rd in Russian. The movie was great but we missed all the subtle jokes that come with those movies. We are looking forward to seeing it at home.

We want to thank everyone for helping with the care package. It really made court day even better.

I absolutely loved the first pic. Was that the first time you all looked at yourself in the mirror as a family? I mean since the adoption went through? It's a womderful sight.
Love to all,
Pat
